It may happen due to damage to any part of the urinary excretion pathway.
The causes of blood in the urine include:
Urinary tract infection:
These infections are more present in women than men.
The infections are caused by bacteria penetrating the urethra and from it to the bladder.
What distinguishes pollution is: painful urination, a high number of urination times, and the desire to urinate, in addition to the strong smell of this urine.
Kidney infection:
It can happen as a result of bacteria penetration into the kidneys through the blood circulation,
Or its rise from the ureter to the kidneys. Its symptoms are similar to urinary tract infection, as well as fever and soreness in the loin.
Urinary tract stones:
Stones are formed due to the minerals that are concentrated in the urine by the sedimentation process.
Mostly, we do not feel the presence of urinary stones, except in cases where they cause obstruction.
And if there are symptoms, they are in the form of strong pain or a hematuria.
Enlarged prostate in men:
The prostate grows in middle-aged men and causes a blockage of the urethra.
This can cause difficulty in urinating with blood in the urine.
Kidney disease:
Hematuria or blood in the urine is a symptom of kidney infections.
Also, cancer-like disease: (Kidney, bladder or prostate) can lead to bleeding in the urinary tract.
pharmaceutical:
Many medications can cause blood to appear in the urine, such as: penicillin, aspirin, heparin, and others.
