Surgical methods of Peyronie's disease

The surgical methods used are:
Sew (shorten) the uninfected side:
This is shortening on the unaffected side of the curve to be about the same length as the other side. In some cases, this type of surgery causes erectile dysfunction.
Fissure or excision or patching:
In this type of surgery, we make one or more pieces of scar tissue, allowing the sheath to stretch and straighten the penis.
This type is used for more severe bending or deformations.
🔸 Penile stent implantation:
It is a surgery in which the penile stent is implanted to replace the spongy tissue that is filled with blood at the time of erection.
Stent implantation occurs if you suffer from Peyronie's disease and erectile dysfunction at the same time.
